Terms of use

The terms for this website: what the published prices are, what sending an enquiry means, and what applies once we agree to work together.

Who runs this site

This site is operated by StackHouse — Dmytro Gaiduk, IČO 29982481, Prague, Czech Republic, email dmytro@stackhouse.cz, trading under a Czech trade licence entered in the trade register.

The Czech version of these terms is the binding one; this is a translation for convenience.

The prices and timelines here are indicative

The prices and ranges published on this site, the estimator's output included, are for information. They are not an offer within the meaning of Section 1732(2) of the Czech Civil Code, and publishing them creates no obligation to enter into a contract.

The same goes for time. The weeks shown beside each package are how long such projects typically take, not a deadline: the actual schedule depends on the scope, on how quickly materials and approvals arrive, and on what has to be integrated.

What binds is the individual estimate — line by line, with dates and a fixed total — which you get after the first call. Until then the scope is not agreed, and the final price and dates may differ from what is published here.

The estimator

The estimator computes a figure from the options you pick. It does not know your project: not what materials you have, not what your content looks like, not what has to be integrated. It exists so you know the order of magnitude before you write to us — not to replace an estimate.

Sending an enquiry is not a contract

An enquiry binds neither side. It means we get in touch and arrange a call. A contract comes into being when a works contract is signed or a binding estimate is confirmed in writing.

What we do with what you type into the form is on the privacy page.

Once we agree to work together

The work itself is not governed by these terms but by a works contract. That contract carries the scope as specified and agreed, the schedule, the payment stages, how changes of scope are handled, the warranty period, and the licence terms for the result.

It includes a data processing agreement wherever we process personal data for you — which is effectively always, once we run your site or the forms on it.

The content of this site

The text, graphics, code and structure of this site are protected by copyright. Quote them with attribution; taking a larger part, or using them for your own presentation, needs permission.

Links to other sites are there for the reader's convenience, and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Liability

The content here is informational. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we are not liable for decisions taken on it alone without a conversation.

Nor are we liable for the site being unavailable through a provider outage, a network failure, or force majeure. Liability for delivered work and its defects is settled in the works contract, not on this page.

Consumers

If you are a consumer and we cannot settle a dispute between us directly, you may take it to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), which handles out-of-court consumer disputes. Details and the form are at adr.coi.cz.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic and Czech courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The version that applies is the one published at this address at the moment you send an enquiry; the date of the last change is at the top.
